Drying
The chamber drying of wood takes place in a special drying room at a very high temperature, which sterilizes the wood, effectively eliminating all pests and fungi. Thanks to this, wooden elements, no longer need additional protection. On the other hand, wooden elements that are exposed to the influence of weather conditions should be protected – wooden gazebos, sheds or summer cottages are best preserved with appropriately selected impregnants.
The modular structure of chamber dryers allows for precise and individual adjustment of drying parameters, among others for various types of wood or its thickness (the possibility of drying the wood in a wide range of its humidity). Such drying brings great results.
Impregnation
The high risk of biological factors (fungi, insects – technical pests of wood, bacteria) explains the need to impregnate wooden elements used in open spaces, exposed to moisture. It should also be remembered that in many cases wood requires protection against a separate factor of its degradation, which is fire. In each case, the quality of the impregnation treatment, the selection of the appropriate impregnation method and the protection measure have a particular impact on the effectiveness of wood protection. Due to the increasing use of impregnated wood, special attention is paid to the quality of impregnation, its method, and the effects resulting from the use of such wood.
